All throughout scripture we are commanded to pray ye one for another and to pray without ceasing. But how many of us know that it is a privilege to pray not a chore? 
It's something we get to do to change the course not only of our lives but of history.

Are you taken up with the cares of this life? Is your conversation or heart joyful over things rather than the Lord and His Word? 

Does anything mean more to you than living for and pleasing God? There's a cure for that in the Word of God found in Philippians 1:20-21

The cares of this often come in to choke out the Word of God. Especially during this final quarter of the year. It's easy to look at commercials and think about all the things you wish you had. 

Lets make this a season of truly giving and a time to remember those who are truly less fortunate than we are. A very dear friend of mine, whom I met ministering to people on the streets in the heart of downtown Los Angeles is doing just that. 

Sister Miriam and her husband have started a new ministry and are in need of support. Things like blankets and socks as they minister to those who are living on the street. A warm cup of noodles goes a long way on a cold night living on the street.

Have you virtually called God a liar by doubting His Word? Do you worry? 

Is your spiritual temperature based on your feelings instead of on the facts of God's Word?

One of my favorite verses of scriptures in the Bible is 

2Corinthians 10:4 says For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; Paul here is saying; look we are in a war, but don’t trip because:

   Weapons are our warfare are not carnal (fleshly) but mighty (not human) but divinely possible; Mighty through God! The Power is Not ours, but Gods. One commentary said, “The Work of the ministry is the warfare and the doctrine of the Gospel are the weapons.

Do you complain? Do you find faults? Do you have a critical attitude towards any person or anything? 

Are you irritable or cranky? Do you ever carry hidden anger? Do you get angry? 

Do you become impatient with others? Are you ever harsh or unkind? Ephesians 4:31

Do you underpay? Do you do very little in your work? Have you been careless in the payment of your debts? 

Have you sought to evade payment of your debts? Do you waste time? Do you waste time for others? 

If you are guilty in any of these then you are guilty in all? But Jesus gave us a way out. There is a way to be free once and for all because Jesus paid the price. Ephesians 4:28
